We have a large range of used generators both diesel and natural gas. Our generators range from 6kVA up to 2500kVA. These are high quality diesel and gas generator sets from recognized names in power generation including: FG Wilson, Caterpillar, Cummins, Olympian, SDMO and more.

Available second hand generators include open and silent / enclosed (ISO containerized or canopied) gen-sets with alternators by Leroy Somer, Newage, Mecce Alte. Our used generators can be configured for standby, primary or continuous supply. We also stock genuine FG Wilson parts, external fuel tanks, plugs, distribution boards, sound attenuated enclosures, acoustic containers and more. Maintenance agreements also available upon request.

All prices shown below are excluding carriage and VAT. Carriage can be arranged as an additional extra.

SDMO 700-770kVA / 560kW generator with MTU 12V 2000 diesel engine. Comes fitted inside a white trailer mounted 20 foot ISO container. 
Leroy Somer 49.1/M6C6S/4 415V, 1010 amp, 50 Hz alternator (please see data sheet). Complete with roof box style exhaust system, four 12 volt lead-acid batteries and a Kerys control panel.
This generator can be sold with a warranty included to meet your needs.

We offer a full installation service with supplied auto change over panel for 100% automatic standby applications. 
This unit is sound level attenuated to 75dBA @ 7 metres. These ISO type containers are also highly secure. This Generator is up for sale after a long period of standby rental, however it has less than 4500 hours usage (please see data sheet).

This Cummins 1100kVA / 880kW generator operating with a Stamford 400-230 volt, 1530amp 50hz alternator has a Cummins QST30-G4 diesel engine and was manufactured in 2012 with the recorded run hours of 10,000.
The set has a Deep Sea LED control panel and a 3200l fuel tank and is in an ISO container and sound attenuated to 80dba @ 1 metre.
The exhaust system is roof fitted and there are two 12V lead-acid batteries. Length 10,000mm, Width – 2,400mm, Height 2,500mm(ex-cl exhaust), 2,500 (inc exhaust).
The generator was used as a prime power unit in a grinding Mill and is no longer required as a new power supply has been connected. This set has been run for 40 hours per week with servicing from a Cummings dealer at 250hour intervals.
In good condition this set is sold with a standby 6 months or 150 hour UK warranty whichever is soonest.

This CHP unit includes a Cummins 1547kW / 1934kVA, 415V, natural gas generator. Includes the heat exchangers, power and valves. 
We are offering a new reduced price as shown which removes the smaller container with the heat recovery equipment. If you need this the cost is £5,000 with the package the price is £150,000.
The exhaust system and dry air coolers are mounted on the roof of the shipping container this allows relatively straight forward removal and installation at another site. 500 litre lube oil top up tank and heat exchangers are included.

The system is mounted in two containers (a 6mtr and a 12mtr). For exports a third container will be needed for the exhaust and heat exchanger. The engine is in good condition and has been well maintained.

These Caterpillar 1875kVA / 1500kW diesel generators have a 400 volt, 50Hz 2606 amp SR4 alternators. 

The sets are fitted with Caterpillar 3516B TA engines that have had 6,830 / 5,780/ 5,780 hours of use, internal exhausts, 4 x 12 volt lead acid batteries and water jacket heaters. 
The Generators have the following dimensions 12,000mm long, 2,400mm wide and 2,900mm tall including exhaust (approximately) and weigh around 25,000Kg. 
The control panels are Caterpillar. 

These sets were used as National Grid back up set as standby to base load landfill gas sets. So these sets were used when the gas sets were being maintained. Outside was weathered hence re-spray - inside will be full cleaned after testing. These generators operate individually or as 3 units producing 5625kW prime power 5.6 mw to the grid. Their location was on a large PLC landfill site so their present external colour is Holly Green however given its weathered dull appearance we will grit blast prime and paint sets ral 9001 with new fittings as required. Our scope of works given their low hours and Quality will be to resell these generators with warranty to a STOR or PV-Photovoltaics operator / owner to operate a grid connection. Alternatively these would be ideal as standby sets at data centres - cold stores or factory sites.
